Coach Lucinda Franze
Lucinda Franze is one of our Women Empowered Instructors who work alongside Professor Tony and Coach Tanya, empowering and guiding women on their self-defense journey. Her passion is teaching Jiu- Jitsu to women and children. She is also a Blue Belt and a Master Cycle student. Her devotion to teaching Jiu-Jitsu is unmistakable in her dedication to assisting her children and fellow GJJA students in achieving their training and self-defense goals.
Lucinda's four children have trained at GJJA for nearly seven years. After she recovered from a traumatic back injury and spine surgeries, she finally felt ready to join her children on the mat in September 2019. She enjoys helping others become empowered through their Jiu-Jitsu practice.
Lucinda is a former EMT and currently a Health Liaison for the Cherry Creek School District. She earned her ECE111: Infant and Toddler Theory and Practice certificate through Red Rocks Community College. She is CPR certified and completed the Gracie University Women Empowered Instructor Certification Program in January 2022.
