Coach Francis Hauris
Francis started his martial arts journey more than 20 years ago and holds Black Belts in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and in Taekwondo as well as experience in American Goju Ryu Karate. Francis received his Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instruction under Tony Debelak at GJJ Aurora starting in 2018. Upon moving to the Denver area from Virginia, Francis discovered the camaraderie, structured curriculum, and quality of instruction that makes Gracie Jiu-Jitsu such a great system to train in. Francis enjoys teaching, coaching, and training GJJ and has made it a way of life by dedicating himself to life-long self-improvement. Francis is first and foremost dedicated to teaching GJJ as a complete self-defense system.
His Story
Outside of Jiu-Jitsu, Francis works as a Product Development Engineer in the orthopedics industry and has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University.
